olive-wood-big-spoon-utensil-rest-set
Olive Wood - Big Spoon & Utensil Rest Set

A big, beautiful olive wood cooking spoon and a matching utensil rest to give it a home — a two-piece set for the cook who actually uses their tools. The spoon is hand-carved from a single piece of dense Mediterranean olive wood, with a deep bowl for stirring, folding, and serving, and the rest keeps it off your counter between stirs so your stovetop stays clean.

What you’re getting: a set of two olive wood pieces — one large cooking and serving spoon (about 12 inches long, with a roomy bowl and a comfortable handle) plus a matching olive wood utensil rest sized to cradle the spoon and your other big cooking tools. Both are finished by hand and food-safe, ready to work.

Make It Personal — Name Engraving on the Handle (+$8): pick your font (A–G) from the Engraving menu above, then type the name in the “What to engrave” box that appears and we’ll laser-engrave it on the spoon’s handle. Keep it to about 12 characters so it fits the handle. Engraved sets are made to order and final sale.

Why olive wood: it’s one of the hardest, densest woods that exists, with a tight closed grain that resists water, odors, and staining far better than open-grained woods. It won’t leach flavor into your food, it’s gentle on your pots and pans, and with a little care an olive wood spoon can outlast every plastic or silicone tool in your drawer. The wild, swirling grain also means no two pieces look alike.

Real Photos, Every Time
Every photo is our own — shot by us, of the real piece, in real light. No stock images, no AI.

Doing Good — No Greenwashing
The designs are ours — our own shapes, or existing forms we’ve refined together with the artisans we work with directly — then made to our spec, inspected, and hand-finished by us before they ship straight to you. No middlemen, no distributors, no drop-shipping. We believe in true sustainability, quality over quantity, and treading lightly: olive wood is a renewable resource, harvested from trees that have already given their fruit.

Care: hand wash in warm water, dry right away, and never soak the pieces or put them in the dishwasher. Every so often, wipe them with a food-grade wood conditioner or a little mineral oil to keep the grain rich and protected. Treated this way, an olive wood set lasts for years.

Good to Know: olive wood is a natural material, so color, grain, and the small dark mineral streaks vary from piece to piece. The set you receive will be its own — never a flaw, always a fingerprint.

Questions Before You Order? We’re a small team and we’re reachable — we personally choose, finish, and pack every set that leaves our shop.
