A set of three hand-carved olive wood crescent moon dishes — large, medium, and small — a little moon-phase trio for a nightstand, vanity, altar, or entryway. Each one is carved from a single piece of Mediterranean olive wood, so the swirling grain is one of a kind.

• Large moon dish — approx. 8.5 x 4 in
• Medium moon dish — approx. 7 x 3.25 in
• Small moon dish — approx. 5.5 x 2.5 in

All three are hand carved from solid olive wood and finished with our all natural, food-safe wood conditioner.

Please note: these are all handmade, so exact sizes, weights, and grain vary from piece to piece — yours will differ a little from the photos, and that's part of the charm. Because each dish is individually carved, they do NOT nest inside one another; they're made to sit side by side as a moon-phase set.

Add backside engraving (optional): choose a font and we'll engrave the back of the dishes (+$8 per dish, +$24 for the set of 3).

Ways to use them: a catchall for rings, earrings, and small jewelry; a spot for keys and coins; little dishes for salt, spices, olives, or dips; a crystal or sage holder; or simply a sculptural moon-phase display.

Why olive wood: dense, naturally water-resistant, and beautiful, with wild flowing grain no other wood matches. No two pieces look quite alike, and with simple care they last for years.

Care: wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry well. Don't soak them or put them in the dishwasher. Re-oil now and then with a food-grade wood conditioner to keep the grain rich.
