Why we do what we do? The world is full of drop-shippers, distributors and mass produced items. We want to be part of the world of artisans, makers, and authenticity. We make products that are beautiful, and durable, but we can also tell you exactly where each product we sell comes from.
Why Olive wood? (because we love it!)
Olive wood is regarded by many as simply one of the most beautiful and precious hardwoods in the world. Also one of the hardest woods in the world, olive wood is naturally antibacterial and remarkably durable.
TruthSeeker olive wood products are sourced from Mediterranean olive trees that are no longer producing olives and need to be replanted. Our natural olive wood products meet the definition of 'sustainable' in every respect.
Why Teak wood? (because real teak wood is amazing, but much of the online teak sold isn't actually teak)
Real---Authentic---Teak! TruthSeeker teak wood products are sourced from the prunings of sustainable teak wood plantations in Northern Thailand. Golden teak from Northern Thailand is regarded as ‘true teak’ and represents some of the finest teak in all the world. Teak wood sets the bar for long-lasting durability and strength. Due to a high concentration of natural oils, teak wood also possesses natural anti-bacterial properties making it an ideal choice for use in your home. Our teak products come from the finest pieces of wood, selected one by one, and refined to a quality level rarely seen in the market.
Treatment
Our wood products are treated with the TruthSeeker wood conditioner. 100% natural beeswax, coconut oil, and vitamin E oil. We never use any lacquers, solvents or mineral oil products on any items that may come in contact with food.
Care
With proper care your natural wooden products from TruthSeeker Naturals can last a lifetime and beyond. To care for your natural wood products, simply wash with warm soapy water, and dry. Natural wood products will fade over time with repeated washing, so to maintain them and bring them back to their original state, simply apply a natural wood wax (like TruthSeeker natural food grade wood polish) as desired. Natural wood products should never be soaked in water for long periods, or left out in the sun.
