Two of our BIG olive wood serving spoons, as a matched set — both hand carved from single pieces of Mediterranean olive wood, with the wild, wandering grain only olive wood has. These are a real step up from a standard wooden spoon: Substantial, thick, strong handles. These spoons are the 2nd largest size we make.
What You're Getting (Set of 2)
Two matching large serving spoons — big, robust spoons with deep bowls and thick, strong handles for serious everyday cooking, stirring, and serving. One to use and one to share, or keep the pair working side by side.
Size
Each spoon: approx. 12 in long, 2.5 in bowl. Made individually, so each one varies a little.

These are a different animal than the standard wooden cooking spoon — thick, strong, and beautiful. Made to be used, and to last for years - maybe decades with a little care.

Olive wood is dense, naturally water-resistant, and beautiful, with flowing grain no other wood matches. Finished with a natural, food-safe conditioner, these spoons last for years.

Doing Good — No Greenwashing
The designs are ours — our own shapes, or existing forms we've refined together with the artisans we work with directly — then made to our spec, inspected, and hand-finished by us before they ship straight to you. True sustainability, quality over quantity, tread lightly. No middlemen, distributors, or drop-shipping.
Care
Hand wash with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly. Don't soak, submerge, or put them in the dishwasher. Re-oil now and then with a food-grade wood conditioner to keep them looking new.
Make It Personal — Engraving on the Handle
Add a name, date, or short word to the handle — pick a font A–G from the Engraving menu (see the Engraving Font chart in the photos), then leave what you'd like in the order notes at checkout — for example, "Juniper" (up to 12 characters — about the limit a spoon handle comfortably holds). The same word is engraved on both spoons. Engraving is +$8 per spoon (+$16 for the set). Prefer them plain? Choose "None." Personalized sets are made to order and non-returnable; plain sets ship in 1–2 days, engraved orders take a few extra days.
Good to Know
Because each spoon is cut from natural olive wood, grain, color, and exact size vary piece to piece — no two sets are quite alike.
